If this story is true or not the fact is Chrysler builds inferior automobiles. Inferior engineering, assembly and poor reliability have been Chrysler's hallmark for the last 60 years.
Is it any wonder why Cheysler filed for bankruptcy twice. The notion to want to support American businesses has its merits, but it is clearly irrational to spend your hard earned cash on products manufactured by a corporation that has produced a wide range of insipid clunkers for the last six decades. While there are some problematic automobiles in every car manufacturer worldwide, certain corporations, like Chrysler, have a very lengthy and storied past of lemon-istic iron rolling out of their factories. If you want an automobile that will hold its value extremely well and give you many years of happy motoring then your best is a Toyota or Honda.
For every 100 20 year old Camry and Accord's still registered and road worthy, there's probably 3 Chrysler products that old that might be road worthy.
And by the way, I'm a former Chrysler owner of a 2000 Condorde LXI. The biggest piece of rolling doo doo I every had the displeasure of sharing garage space with.
Product or Service Mentioned: 2000 Chrysler Concorde Lxi Car.
Reason of review: Bad quality.
I didn't like: Deplorable quality and engineering.
